Ankara Ticaret Odası (ATO) ile Azerbaycan Cumhuriyeti Küçük ve Orta Ölçekli İşletmeler ve Dernekler Birliği (KOBSKA) arasında ticari ve iş ilişkilerini geliştirmek üzere protokol imzalandı.

Odadan yapılan yazılı açıklamaya göre, ATO Başkanı Gürsel Baran, başkanlık makamındaki imza töreninde yaptığı konuşmada, Azerbaycan ile Türkiye’nin iki ayrı devlet olsa da milletlerinin bir olduğunu belirtti.

İki ülke vatandaşlarının yakınlığına rağmen dış ticaret hacminin 3,3 milyar dolar düzeyinde olduğuna dikkati çeken Baran, “Cumhurbaşkanımızın işaret ettiği hedef doğrultusunda Azerbaycan ile dış ticaretimizi 15 milyar dolar seviyesine yükseltmek istiyoruz.” ifadesini kullandı.

KOBSKA Başkanı Nigar Alasgarova da, protokolle, Azerbaycan ve Türkiye arasındaki ticaret hacmini yükseltmeyi hedeflediklerini bildirerek, ATO üyesi işletmelerinin tecrübelerinden faydalanmak istediklerini kaydetti.
